I have over 25 years of Global Sales and Marketing experience and have worked in roles as diverse as Sales Consultant and Manager, Key Account Manager, Direct Marketing Manager, and various roles within the Digital Marketing arena including heading up a global Digital Marketing and Services team.

Within these roles I have written over 50 workshops, delivered over 500 training courses, countless presentations (both customer-facing and internal, with the latter ranging from new starters to Board and Executive Committee level) and spoken at numerous industry events on issues ranging from publishing, to Direct Marketing good practice, to Digital Innovation.

I have managed teams ranging from 2 to 40 reports across all aspects of Sales and Marketing , created and implemented strategies across Web, CRM, Social, and Direct Marketing, as well as creating and supporting hundreds of on and off-line campaigns;  some of them award-winning. I am highly experienced in setting and working to budgets in order to produce customer focused on and offline campaigns with demonstrable ROI.

I hold qualifications from the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM DigDip), and Oxford University Said Business School (PGDip in Strategy and Innovation), as well as studying at Cranfield School of Management, CiM, Roffey Park and many more.

I have a strong belief in ethical sales and marketing, and currently sit in a non-exec position as a trustee on the SMART MAT board supporting Academy Trusts in the North East of England.

I have provided consultancy and support to global business, start-ups, small-medium sized companies and freelance professionals.

I am particularly keen to support Small and Medium sized enterprises who may think traditional consultancy services are beyond their budget or too macro-focused for them to be able to successfully use.
